Paul and Katie nyborg…
Paul and Katie are Wisconsin artisans located 30 mins south-east of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. They specialize in blacksmith, pottery and woodwork. Using traditional forging and crafting methods each and every project is hand crafted while incorporating the elements of personal vision and historical inspiration.
Paul is a blacksmith and woodworker. He studied under (and continues to study with) skilled blacksmiths and woodworkers working in the style he admires. His style can include Norwegian and English traditional designs with his own flare added in. He prefers to use hand tools and the old ways of working in his mediums.
Katie is a potter. She studied under local artist and earned a BFA-Ceramics. She also spent some time working at a production pottery studio. She enjoys making functional wares that give her a chance to do surface decoration and illustrate.
Their goal is to live life in a way that glorifies God while creating timeless pieces that can be treasured for life.
